Beauty is in the eye…

Imagine that within each of us is a light. From our soul, we beam out our own unique light. In its purest form, the light represents love. As children, we shine our light unapologetically. It comes out as joy, contentment, hurt, apprehension, gratitude and so much more. Each experience we have in life adds a sort of filter over our light, layer upon layer. The experiences we receive with love and gratitude are kind of absorbed into our core light making it brighter and stronger. The ones received with those lower vibe emotions like resentment and guilt carry their own kind of filter that gets placed over our light. This tends to influence how future experiences are received. For example, if one is carrying around feelings of hurt from a childhood experience, all experiences going forward are processed with that filter on. Even if it’s deep. Even if you don’t know it’s there. We all have our own unique mixture of filters. The ones we give power to are the ones which are the strongest. Through healing and inner work, our filters can be clarified with love and gratitude, making your light brighter and more pure.

Now think of each person you interact with as a faceted gemstone. Each one us us sparkles with many facets and cut into different shapes and sizes. When you look at a gemstone, the way that facet reflects the light depends on the angle. The facets represent a person’s many qualities and experiences. So, in beholding a single person or gemstone the viewer observes it (or them) with a unique perspective. No two perspectives will be exactly alike. A brighter, more positive and authentic light will bring out the pure and loving sparkle from another gemstone and allow it to be in its full glory. A light that is muddied with doubt, unhealed/unprocessed wounds, fear, etc...will reflect dimmer light from a gemstone and its full beauty cannot be appreciated.

There are many lessons that can be taken from this, but the main point is that your world is yours to create. It is literally a reflection of your light. Let your light be pure love so that the love that others are walking around with can be seen and appreciated too.

May your world reflect the beauty of your soul.
